In the less than two week’s that his latest single has been out, Kanye West has attracted the customary amount of flak. First, PETA lashed out over the chorus’ reference to fur, then Theraflu objected to the use of their product’s name and image. Many thought nothing would come of either situation, save a likely verbal reprisal on West’s next project.
However, it seems the latter issue became a genuine problem. West has renamed the song, and removed the medicine’s image from the single’s artwork. Above is the new artwork, and for comparison, the former is below. It’s a bit of a bummer, the formerly cool artwork is a reduced a bit by the blank, awkward bottle.
Still no word as to whether the single is for DJ Khaled, who also appears, or West’s next project.
