Sorry for the delay folks. Our news cycle was slowed down over the past few days, so let’s get you all caught up on Kanye. Let’s break this down by day.
Friday: After the leak of two unfinished tracks that are destined for his upcoming album, Kanye had cancelled G.O.O.D. Friday for the week. He then had a change of heart and bestowed us with “Christian Dior Denim Flow” which features Kid Cudi, Pusha T, John Legend, Lloyd Banks, and Ryan Leslie. Download the original version that was posted below. Original Version? Yeah, skip down to Sunday for an explanation.
Saturday: Kanye played Saturday Night Live, and gave two great performances of his first two singles off the new album, “Power” and “Runaway.” Check out the videos below.
Sunday: Right off of the stage of SNL, Kanye promised us an updated version of “Christian Dior Denim Flow” with an extended Ryan Leslie verse. He delivered and replaced the old version on his site. Download it here.
Monday: The second single, “Runaway” (feat. Pusha T) was released on iTunes. Purchase the track from iTunes here. Kanye also tweeted that the album would in fact be released on November 22nd.
Tuesday: In a slew of tweets, Kanye revealed that the title of the album is My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, that the first song on the album is called “Dark Fantasy” and is produced by The Rza and co-produced by Kanye and No I.D., that he’s finishing up the album packaging in Paris, and that “All of the Lights” (one of the tracks that leaked this past week) would be the album’s third single.
Wow. TOO. MUCH. KANYE. That won’t stop us from posting updates more regularly from now on though.
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is due out November 22nd. Get ready.
