Juan MacLean, the man who usually takes to the stage with an indicative ‘The’ preceding his name, has decided to release new music under a new moniker: Peach Melba. MacLean has made a series of new songs that he considers too “housey” for his main project, so will steadily release them under his new name on 12″ vinyl – to make them DJ-friendly. The singles will be put out by DFA.
The first single is called “Can’t Let Go,” and features vocals from Amy Douglas. The vinyl will be released on July 27th and can be pre-ordered now from the DFA webstore or you can download the tracks from Beatport. It comes with two dub remixes of the track. You can stream all three versions below.
