Jade Hairpins is the project of Fucked Up’s Jonah Falco and Mike Haliechuk, who have been working on the band for a couple of years, but are set to release their debut album, Harmony Avenue, on May 29.
Following on from first single “J Terrapin” is today’s offering “(Don’t Break My) Devotion”, which once again fuses their love of synths and post-punk into something utterly beguiling yet classic sounding. Lyrically it taps into all sorts of modern paranoias, but has such a vibrant sound that it’s guaranteed to bounce right through them all. Take a listen below.
