GZA to provide lecture at Harvard, releasing new album in 2012

GZA, founding member of Wu-Tang Clan, is living up to something his group-mate Method Man spoofed in the movie How High. Yes, GZA is going to Harvard. However, GZA will not be a student at the prestigious university, but, rather, will be giving a guest lecture on December 1st, concerning “his Clan, his craft, and his creativity.” The lecture is hosted by the Harvard’s Black Men’s Forum and will be followed by Q&A. This is open to the public.

On top of this news, GZA will visit the Broad Institute and the MIT Media Lab to meet with some of the greatest thinkers in their fields to get inspiration for his forthcoming album project to be released on Babygrande Records in 2012. Yes, we will see a new GZA album in 2012. We’ll keep you posted on this record as more details are released.
