Next week Sub Pop will release the debut album of Mister Heavenly, the super group containing Man Man’s Honus Honus, Islands’ Nick Diamonds and Modest Mouse’s Joe Plummer. On the trio’s album, entitled Out of Love, they claim to have created a genre of music that they like to call ‘doom-wop’ (also the name of one of the tracks on the album), which features bombastic music and melodramatic vocals, influenced by the summer music of the 60s like the Beach Boys.
Although the album isn’t out for another seven days you can stream it in full below.
