We’ve been waiting a while for this one, the follow up to the magical For Emma, Forever Ago. I think we all know that that album was once in a career type album, borne out of a bad situation that Justin Vernon had been in at the time, so it was unlikely that he would follow it up with another stripped back melancholy record. Rather, he and his band have gone for something much grander, but equally beautiful and affecting. Judge for yourself by listening to the whole album below, courtesy of NPR.
