According to Pitchfork, Florence Welch will follow-up her band’s (Florence And The Machine) breakthrough album, Lungs, with a new record due out on November 7th via Island in the UK and sometime in November in the U.S.A. via Universal Republic. The record is currently untitled, but there are plenty of tidbits to get you excited.
For one, first single “What The Water Gave Me,” which Flo + The Mo have been performing live for a while, has a we’re-working-hard-making-an-album type of video, which you can watch below. The new affair will be produced solely by Paul Epworth, rather than the multiple producers that were used on Lungs, and will be focused more on the “booming mystic-pop that highlighted her debut.” Sounds like someone has been paying attention to the critics.
Check out the video below and we’ll keep you posted when we get a release date in America and an album title.
