In recent weeks, Eminem has begun the pre-release hype cycle for his sixth studio album, Recovery, slated for release on June 22. First, he released the album’s debut single, “Not Afraid,” and followed it up by announcing two massive stadium concerts with Jay-Z for September. (UPDATE: The Detroit show is set for Thursday, September 2 and the New York performance is scheduled for Monday, September 13.)
Today, he unveiled two different covers for the album on his website. In order to view the artwork on his site, you have to log in with Facebook, and when I did it, it posted a link to the artwork on my account even though I didn’t give permission. To circumvent Mark Zuckerburg’s online privacy takeover, both covers are screencapped for your convenience and security above.
