Dawn McCarthy and Bonnie “Prince” Billy set to release new album in February

Another year, another Bonnie “Prince” Billy collaboration. Not that I’m moaning and groaning about it. I’ve come to expect some kind of Oldham goodness at some point during any given year. And so news has been released that we will indeed see another collaborative album from Will Oldham and Dawn McCarthy. This time in the form of What The Brothers Sang via Drag City on February 19th. The album is inspired by, though not an actual covers record of, The Everly Brothers, for whom both Oldham and McCarthy share an affinity.
