Recently, Chris Martin told the Sun that the band wants to hand out a free live album to fans that attend their summer gigs. Their inspiration? The recession. Apparently they want fans to get more bang for their buck.
“We are trying to work out a way that, when you hand your ticket in at the door, you get given the recording. It would be such a cool thing to do.”
While this is a great idea, I think fans would rather they just lower their damn ticket prices. $100+ for a show is a lot to spend during these times.
