A mysterious countdown recently posted on The Killers’ homepage came to an end yesterday and with it came the news that singer Brandon Flowers has prepared a solo album. So far the only details we have are that it will be called Flamingo and it is “coming soon.” Just how soon we will have to wait and see. There is a clip on the site and by the sounds of it Flowers is picking up in a similar position to where The Killers left off on Day & Age.
Flowers has also denied claims that The Killers are on the verge of splitting, rather they are taking time off to work on other projects. Aside from Flowers’ album, guitarist Ronnie Vannucci Jr. is working with a new project entitled Mt. Desolation.
