Since One Thirty BPM officially established its editorial department in Los Angeles two months ago, we have had the chance to check out an increasing amount of local talent, but our first experience with Death Kit came months earlier, when they played an attention-grabbing set in support of How To Dress Well at the Echo. What have Death Kit been up to since? Well, they have a couple of new singles, one of which we have to premiere for you below.
“Boy” retains the dance-punk influence that seemed prevalent when we first discovered Death Kit, but also has a bit of Digital Ash In A Digital Urn sprinkled on top.
