Damon Albarn has apparently told NME that Blur plans to record more one-off tracks in the near future. “I’m definitely going to do a few more of those seven inches. I love the no pressure aspect,” Albarn stated. We may have to wait a while for another release as members of Blur are very busy with other projects. Most notably, Albarn is beginning to outline a tour with Gorillaz supporting Plastic Beach. “We can’t do it all the time,” he admitted. “So I don’t want anyone to think there’s an album coming soon, it’s not possible, but we’ve got songs!” Overall, any new music from Blur is a pleasure, especially considering how great “Fool’s Day” was, their first song together since Graham Coxon left the band in 2003.
