It’s been a moment since Danger Mouse deigned to delve into a full hip hop project – since his effort alongside the late MF DOOM, in fact.
That’s set to change via an album alongside the great (and somehow eternally underrated) Black Thought. The Roots MC isn’t on his lonesome, either, with the album featuring the likes of Run the Jewels, Conway the Machine, Raekwon, and MF DOOM himself.
Titled Cheat Codes, the project is set to arrive August 12th via BMG. To kick things off they’ve shared the reflective yet blistering “No Gold Teeth”. This is pure spitting: Thought has no need for a chorus, and simply barrages the listener with his flawless flow and pointed lyricism, all across Danger Mouse’s soulful, bouncing production.
