This week Black Keys are set to hit the studio to record some new material with ZZ Top’s Billy F. Gibbons in Los Angeles. Gibbons originally approached Black Keys at one of their shows, where he played them a couple of his new songs.
Gibbons said that he was looking forward to working with the band, because of their raw and bluesy sound, which is what he was looking for. Rick Rubin will be producing the new ZZ Top album. No word on what the title of this new project is called.
