Beastie Boys’ Paul’s Boutique Remaster is out!

It’s time to ‘Shake Your Rump’ because the Beastie Boys have relaunched their site and released the 20th Anniversary Edition of 1989 classic Paul’s Boutique. You can stream it in its entirety as well as all of the music videos below (well except the Japanese exclusive “5-Piece Chicken Dinner”):

Physical copies won’t be out until February 10th but you can head over to the site and download an MP3 or FLAC version of the album. Preorders are available for all the different physical copy bundles, including a $129.99 “Commemorative Package” which comes with the CD, 180-gram vinyl, limited edition t-shirt, and a high-quality 8 x 1 foot poster. A bit steep in price, but the poster looks incredible.

Additionally, the full album commentary by the Beastie Boys themselves has been included on the site as a free download. No purchase necessary. Very interesting stuff about the album especially if you haven’t read the 33 1/3 book on Paul’s Boutique.

The remaster sounds great, the site is incredible, and I’m loving the split up “B-Boys Bouillabaisse” but where are the B-sides?

Also, be sure to check out this interview with the Beastie Boys with Ian from Topspin:

So will it be the ‘bankers of the first centennial’ or ‘cranes and dangles’?

PS. Almost forgot. The Beasties are playing Bonnaroo!
