The beloved Magnetic Fields album 69 Love Songs is finally going to exist as an elaborate deluxe vinyl box set. The impressive-looking set–once released as three CDs–is spread across six 10″ vinyl records and comes with the original CD booklet, which will get up-sized to match the 10″ records. Buyers will also get a pass to download the digital version of this remastered album. This must-have box set is slated for a release on April 20 via Merge Records.
You can pre-order it on the Merge website, where you will receive a $10 discount and a printable e-valentine just in time for that amorous February holiday. It is unfortunate that the release date couldn’t come sooner, as such a box set would make for an appropriate V-Day gift. Hey, who says you can’t celebrate Valentine’s Day two months later?
