“Bright Lights” by name, and by nature, too. The title to Fine Times’ new single might bring to mind flashing strobe lights in a club, but with the new accompanying video for the track, it’s hard to imagine any other light source than the baking California sun under which the video was made. Shot over fourteen hours, director Eli Berg drops plenty of Sergio Leone homages in the four minute tale of escape, passion, and death. With Matthew Moldowan and Jeffrey Josiah Powell’s gleaming track playing over the top (and in between the video), the music soon becomes the equivalent to basking, if not sweating profusely in the 140 degree heat. Watch the video below, and check out Fine Times self-titled debut album, which is available now on Light Organ Records.
