Dovecote Records is handling the release of Wise Blood‘s debut LP id on June 25th. We’ve already heard two tracks from the record: “Rat” and “Universe Is Blessed.” And both songs showcase the wide diversity that we’ve come to expect from producer Chris Laufman and his sample-based techniques. He has just released the video for “Rat,” with its jazzy horns and hip-hop beat. The video follows Laufman as he sets things on fire, drinks, dances alone in a club, drinks some more, and plays with knives–hopefully not a typical day in the life of the enigmatic producer.
