Splitting his time between his day job of running design studio Designedmemory (which includes being Beyonce’s online creative director) and his musical moniker Gambles, Matthew Daniel Siskin would seem to have very little free time. However, he has found time to record a fascinatingly subtle debut EP which is set to be released on May 7th via his own GMBLS imprint (which is part of Secretly Canadian’s distribution). The lead single “Far From Your Arms” sounds like lo-fi Johnny Cash mixed with the intense acoustic aesthetic of The Tallest Man on Earth. Listen to “Far From Your Arms” below.
