Relationships are tumultuous things, full of ups and downs, and all sorts of hardships, and the only thing we can do to survive them is to keep dancing and express all the pain, joy, sadness, and other emotions through that particular medium. At least that’s a very basic way of summarizing the new video for Passion Pit’s “Cry Like A Ghost,” from the still-brilliant Gossamer. Directed by Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, who are responsible for the great video for Battles’ “My Machines“), the video follows a girl as she’s transposed across various settings that move seamlessly between one another, all while staying centred in a wooded area that looks like its undergoing a lamping exercise. Watch the original video below, but you can also partake in an extended cut and/or some behind-the-scenes goodness.
