Portland producer/songwriter Natasha Kmeto just announced a new EP, Dirty Mind Melt, her first release since 2010’s Expressor, slated for February 19th, and premiered the title track over at the Fader. “Dirty Mind Melt” is a subdued and undeniably soulful slice of electronic that feels right at home in the current electronic landscape. Don’t be fooled by the sound of those vocals though – they might be pitched and stuttery, but those aren’t samples, they’re Kmeto’s own voice. Check it out below. Dirty Mind Melt is out on Dropping Gems on February 19th, and Kmeto’s got a full length on the way in May.
