Yesterday, the psychedelic-meets-futuristic artwork was revealed for the upcoming Yeasayer album, Odd Blood (due Feb. 9, 2010 on Secretly Canadian).

It seems very fitting for an album that Secretly Canadian describes as being sonically divided into two halves, with the first part representing “twisted chopped and screwed” pop, and the second half of the album representing “paranoid” science fiction-tinged experimentalism. The artwork for the front and back covers seem to correspond to the sound perfectly. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the packaging entails.
The album artwork was designed by Benjamin Phelan. You can check out the rest of his work here.
