Pulling from traditional country and folk artists such as Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and Laura Nyro, Oakland-based Eight Belles, aka singer/songwriter Jessi Philips and a rotating cast of musicians, are set to self-release their debut album Girls Underground on September 25th. Â Having already released the track “Buried Child” (hear it here) from the album, they’ve given us another taste of the record with earnest heartbreaker “Nolchi”. Â Listen to the track below.
