With Rick Ross’ latest LP, God Forgives, I Don’t, rapidly approaching release, and the hype somewhat lacking, Rozay has chosen to share one of the project’s most hyped tracks, “3 Kings”, boasting massive supporters in Jay-Z and Dr. Dre.
So how’d it actually turn out? The track’s a bit doomed by its own hype – the beat is handled by Jake One, rather than the Dre production fans inevitably hoped for. As for the verses, Hov sounds bored, not to mention tired, while a Dre verse in 2012, while always a nice historical treat, is cheapened by the transparency of the super-producer’s ghost-written lines.
