Los Angeles pop punk quartet The Henry Clay People have today announced the release of their new album Twenty-Five For The Rest Of Our Lives. If you’re a fan of the band already you’ll know that this a pretty apt title since this band, led by brothers Joey and Andy Siara, is one of the most youthfully exuberant out there.
Even still, the band believes that they’ve pumped even more teen angst into this record than usual. Joey says “We wanted to finally make the record that our sixteen year old selves would have been excited about… Unfortunately the only way to do so was to live for the last 13 years and get some adult suffering under our belt. Now we can direct our misguided teenage angst at our failed 20s.”
You can certainly hear that in the album’s infectiously furious title track. You can listen to that below. Look out for Twenty-Five For The Rest of Our Lives on June 26th when TBD Records release it.
