A couple of weeks ago we brought you the amazing summer jam “Girls” by Australian dream-pop/shoegaze band Deep Sea Arcade. Now that song has a video to go with it, and seeing the lads in person in the video their music starts to make a little more sense. These guys’ fashion sense looks somewhat indebted to both 60s style and that of 90s Britpop – and both of their elements can be found in their music. Perhaps that’s what takes “Girls” above being your fairly standard pop tune and gives it that extra twinkle that makes it so good.
