Athens, GA psych pop duo are back with the second volume of their Eternal Life mini album series. Vol. 2 was released on Tuesday and it might be their most promising work to date. There’s enough pillowy synths and woozy production value to remind you it’s 2012, but the tracks flow like the back half of Abbey Road and the influences range from 60s pop balladry to 80s electro to 70s prog back to contemporary drone. The duo is releasing both volumes on vinyl sometime in May and they also have a video out for “Tied Down”, which you can find over at The Needle Drop. Check the album stream below.
