While we are left to indefinitely wait for DOOM’s collaboration with Ghostface to reap a full length album, or even a follow up to his follow up to his collaboration with Madlib, at least we now know we’ll be getting some new DOOM material this year.
The infamous rapper has teamed up with Jneiro Jarel to create a new duo called JJ DOOM (as is DOOM’s penchant for combining names in his collaborations). The album is called Key to the Kuffs and will drop some time in May on Lex Records.
You can hear our first taste of the JJ DOOM record by playing “Banished” below. The duo will be DJing and London’s famous Boiler Room next week and you can stream the performance online, so tune in to possibly hear some more of these two’s work.
