Cripes, I thought we’d all forgotten about Avey Tare’s album? I mean, Panda brought out his album and Animal Collective are touring so it’s quite easy to overlook it, even though it came out less than a year ago (only slightly).
One person who certainly hasn’t forgotten is Jack Kubizne, the director of this video for album highlight “Oliver Twist.” Or, maybe, he’s just been working on it since the album came out, since I can imagine an animation like this can take quite a while. It’s kooky little piece, reminiscent of Chad VanGaalen’s video for “Peace On The Rise” from earlier this year. Check out “Oliver Twist” below.
