Well, this might be a mistake, but record store Insound just emailed a pre-order for the unannounced new Neon Indian album. Titled Era Extrana, the record has a September 13th release date, according to the pre-order, and will be released on Mom + Pop Records.
This is the follow-up to 2009’s much loved debut Psychic Chasms and a string of great collaborations with the likes of The Antlers and The Flaming Lips. I’m sure more details will surface in the near future about this new Neon Indian record. Oh, and that might be the cover up there.
