I’ve never seen such a spectacle made of an album stream as the Beastie Boys’ streaming of their new album, Hot Sauce Committee Part Two, at Madison Square Garden over the weekend. As awesome, and truly unique as that was, it gave us such a tease. From that stream it was evident that the Beasties are back to firing at all cylinders, but a miked-up boombox in the middle of a basketball court streaming via video over the internet doesn’t exactly mean studio quality.
Now, in an act of even greater generosity that the Boys really didn’t need to make, the whole album – in studio quality – is available for your listening pleasure via the Soundcloud widget below, one week ahead of its official release date.
