The newest release on U.K. label BackYard Recordings (home to Chromeo and Gossip) has me tapping my toe and jumping out of my desk chair to dance my ass off. “Out Of My Mind” is like a really good cross between Def Leppard and Prince, the sort of song that seems so simple in its execution but incredibly rewarding with each listen. It’s one keytar short of being straight out of the ’80s, but not in an ironic or mocking sense. “Out Of My Mind” is a spectacular track, and the foggy video is just as easy on the eyes as it is on the ears.
