This one comes courtesy of Track In The Box who are having a covers week this week. While this is an unpolished cover, it is good for a few reasons. Firstly, it reminds us of Yeasayer’s original sound; this stripped down acoustic rendition reminds us of the more organic sounds they originated from before they went hi-tech on Odd Blood (which was also awesome). It’s also good because it reminds me how good of a song the original by Seal really was (even if it was a bit of a guilty pleasure). And lastly, it’s just got great novelty value.
