Jenny and Johnny are still touring behind the underrated pleasure I’m Having Fun Now and gave a revealing interview to 944. Jenny Lewis and Johnathan Rice have a great interview chemistry and were not shy to give up some details on upcoming projects.
Lewis spoke of Rilo Kiley, saying “we are putting together a collection of B-sides. Just stuff that has been lying around for many, many years. So we’re getting a bunch of songs together and old photographs and sifting through the past.” When asked further about the release, she responded that they hoped to have it out “this year.”
As far a Jenny and Johnny, Lewis sounded uncertain about their recording future, noting “I don’t think we’ll make another Jenny and Johnny record for a little while, if we do at all. So I think we’ll probably end up making our own records next.”
Luckily for us, Jenny Lewis’ solo work is also top-notch, with Rabbit Fur Coat being a pillar in many record collections.
