One of the coolest debut records of recent years was Crystal Stilts Alight Of Night, an album so indebted to sounds of the past (in a great way) and so laden in reverb that it sounded like it was being played to you through a portal from another decade. Next month Crystal Stilts will follow up Alight of Night with In Love With Oblivion, and here we have the first taste of that new record, “Through The Floor.”
It seems as though the band are being a bit more upfront with their sound this time, coming to us with a cleaner style. But don’t take my word for it, judge for yourself right here.
