When I first saw that The New Pornographers had released a new video for a song from an album that was released nine months ago I thought it was utterly pointless. Then I watched the video and I’m so glad that this exists.
The video for moves is a funny mock-film trailer that supposedly tells the story of how The New Pornographers changed the world with their music. From the Paul Rudd-featuring opening seconds to the way over the top representations of New Pornographers band members (including Ted Leo as Kathryn Calder) this is a treat.
