By now you should be getting pretty excited about the upcoming Bright Eyes album The People’s Key which is being released on February 14th/15th (World/USA) unless you’ve pre-ordered from Saddle Creek, it then you’ll be getting your digital download next tuesday.
Either way, here’s somtheing to make the wait a little easier: another teaser from the album. The song, “Haile Salassie,” is a chugging number that finds Oberst in a rather philosophical mood, delivering vocals in an echoey, quivering voice. It’s definitely a bit of a grower.
