Spain-based multigenre artist El Guincho, born Pablo Díaz-Reixas, is set to release a series of 12″ EPs consisting of covers and traditional songs from South America, where El Guincho gets much of his influence. The first one, Piratas de Sudamérica, Vol. 1 (Pirates of South America), will be available on July 13 in the U.S. The U.K. gets it several days later on July 21. According to Pitchfork, it will be released by Young Turks in both regions. You can stream it now at the official site, and if that doesn’t work, stream it more directly here.
