Last year, The Antlers’ death-themed album, Hospice (Frenchkiss) moved us so much that we ranked it number one on our “Top 50 Albums of 2009” list. Their single “Bear” now has an accompanying video, chock-full of somber imagery evoking death or dying: dead trees, winter, dark and dull tones, tar, the act of carrying a gigantic black sphere. I’m not sure if that last one is supposed to represent death or not, but you can decide for yourself. Stream the video below:
