
So you know how everyone was joking that Hurley would be an album based on the big guy from the TV show LOST? Well..it actually sort of is. Not musically, but the album art revealed today is a picture of actor Jorge Garcia who played Hurley on the hit TV show. When asked about it, Rivers said the following:
“We just wanted to use that picture of Jorge Garcia’s face on the cover. It’s such an amazing album cover, and we didn’t want to have any other words on it, so we just figured everyone was going to call it Hurley, so that’s what we call it.”
You can hear the new single “Memories” here. The picture itself is a cropped version of when Rivers met Jorge Garcia and they took a picture together. You can see that below:
Hurley is out Sept 14th via Epitaph.
