Pun loving lo-fi rockers Times New Viking have just announced some exciting news: they’re releasing a new album. In addition to that the new album, entitled Dancer Equired, will be released on Merge, their new label for North America.
The album will be released on April 25th in North America and through a whole host of other labels including Wichita, Pop Frenzy and Big Nothing in Europe, Australia and Japan respectively.
Merge have announced that the first single from the album is “No Room To Live” which, if you are a Times New Viking Fan, may not be new to you. The song was released on tour-only split 7-inch with Guided By Voices last year. If you’re not familiar, or you want to hear it again, then you can check out the video for it below.
