Something is up with Girls, the critically acclaimed art-pop project of Christopher Owens and Chet “JR” White. We just aren’t exactly sure what it is. But, I mean, whatever it is, it has a widget.
Below you will see something that the band just threw up on their Facebook. The post comes with the message “what what comes” and features what appears to be an album cover with what I would guess would be some track names. These names are “We’re All Gonna Die,” “I’m In Hell,” and “It’s Magic.” Of course, this is all speculative, but Girls have recently announced a date at Los Angeles’ FYF Fest and has been strongly rumored to have a new album coming out this fall. Check out the widget below and stay tuned to see what, if anything, it does next.
Update: Well, there are a ton more lines, which now appear to be lyrical snippets. Some memorable ones include “easy come, easy go, Whatever,” “Who cares about war?” and “You will love me, for all the reasons that everyone hates me.” More as this develops.
