Things are going great over the past year for the dubstep newcomer James Blake. His first three EPs with got insanely popular within the blogosphere, including here at BPM where he grabbed the top spot for Best EPs of 2010 with Klavierwerke EP. Now with a full-length self-titled LP coming out soon in the UK, Blake got a lucky enough break to be picked up a big-time label here in The States.
Today, Blake was acquired by Universal Republic for US distribution, home to artists like Amy Winehouse, Florence + the Machine, India.Arie, Owl City, The Who, any many more greats. Although a US release date has not yet been announced, sources close to me say that this album is going to be fantastic, so a US release date better come soon, if not day-and-date!
The self-titled album will release in the UK under Atlas/A&M February 7th.
