The followup to UK singer-songwriting/producer James Blake’s 2010 self-titled full-length has been officially announced as Overgrown, out April 8th via Republic. The release has been promised to be a return to the Blake’s early dance oriented material and a tackling of house and hip-hop. Sounds interesting. Not much else is available about the upcoming release, but we’ll be getting our first taste of the material tonight with “Retrograde” on Zane Lowe’s BBC1 show. That’s 7:30pm for those in the UK.
UPDATE: We’ve got the new track, “Retrograde,” for you to check out right here.
