Swedish sister act First Aid Kit are returning early next year with their second album, which will be titled The Lion’s Roar. The album is set for release on January 23rd on Wichita Records.
Having toured Europe supporting Bright Eyes earlier this year they’ve got Mike Mogis in to produce the album for them. Mogis and fellow Bright Eyes member Nate Walcott add instrumentation along with Mattias Bergqvist’s drumming and the girls’ own father Benkt Söderberg plays bass. Conor Oberst completes the Bright Eyes trio’s appearances by singing on the track “King Of The World.”
The girls hae promised a brighter album with more dynamism.
