Thurston Moore and his band Sonic Youth were way ahead of the game when they first surfaced in the New York underground, decades ago now. But today Thurston Moore seems to be way behind the trend. He only earlier this week joined twitter and his Facebook page has an unjustly low amount of fans for such a legend. He has a ploy to make you ‘like’ him though; if you do you can hear the amazing new song “Circulation” from his upcoming solo album Demolished Thoughts.
Like “Benediction” before it, “Circulation” centres around n acoustic guitar, but this one is much more reminiscent of the vicious guitars that inhabit a Sonic Youth record, and with additional violin and great production from Beck this is a must hear. So go to Facebook and do it now!
