If you didn’t think that “You Are A Tourist” was as much of a departure from Death Cab’s old sound as has been touted by the band, then prepare to be surprised by “Home Is A Fire.” With its skittering electronics and sparse piano, it’s the closest the band has ever come to The Postal Service and could certainly be tagged “experimental” when considered relative to the rest of the band’s ouevre. The song is set for release along with “You Are A Tourist” for Record Store Day on April 16th and will also appear as the opening track on the band’s upcoming album Codes And Keys.
