About 6 weeks ago we heard “The Reflection of You,” the first single from Bear in Heaven’s upcoming album I Love You, It’s Cool. The album version of the song was already pretty synth-heavy, but they were urgent synths that added some desperation to Jon Philbot’s vocals. Now we get the CFCF remix which adds synths in a different way, and plays with the vocal that completely transforms the song from urgent to relaxed. Like the best remixes, it’s a complete overhaul of the song without losing touch with the original. Check it out below.
Bear in Heaven’s I Love You, It’s Cool comes out through Dead Oceans/Hometapes on April 3rd.
